Sensory Garden Hospital of the Assumption
Sensory Garden at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles. Finally some fine weather for the residents to get out and enjoy their new garden and pavilion. All designed by DH Ryan Architects. Work to begin on a new water feature and additional seating soon.

Bloom 2010 Show Garden Festival
At the Bloom 2010 Show Garden Festival DH Ryan Architects in association with the Irish Preschool Playgroups Association were awarded the Silver Gilt Medal for their garden titled 'Playground of Possibilities'.
This design focused on using natural materials to create play possibilities in the garden. The rationale is that young people learn best through play. We had to provide a natural playscape to foster childrens development, creativity, imagination and connection to nature. The tapestry of natural materials provided stimulating experiences and problem solving opportunities.
Anner Hotel Thurles
In 2004 we completed a large extension to the Anner Hotel in Thurles. This project brought us many challeges which we feel were met on many levels.
We firmly believe that the architectural response to and fulfillment of our client's aspirations is the true measure of the success of our work. To this end, we work simultaneously from the "inside-out" and the "outside-in" to achieve an architecture that integrates the site and the program.
